RHEINZINK® was founded in 1966 by the Grillo, Stolberger Zink companies and the United German Metalworks ("Vereinigte Deutschen Metallwerke"); production began in 1969. Today, RHEINZINK® is part of the Grillo conglomerate. It has a manufacturing capacity of ca. 160,000 tonnes annually and employs more than 800 people. RHEINZINK® has offices in 19 countries worldwide. In-house Research and Development Departments are constantly working to improve both processing and production quality. Furthermore, practical products are developed here, which substantially facilitate process and installation because of their economic applicability and increase the competitiveness of the skilled trades because of their functional reliability.
